Ain't nothing gonna get me down today!

No sir. Nothing can kill my buzz today. Not even the fact that I just spent over an hour looking and looking and looking (not to mention an hour yesterday) for a group worth joining and coming up with jack shit in the way of interesting things. A majority of the reason why I loathe HP is because the LJ ad groups feature damn near nothing but that shit, and celebrity slash. GAH. Oh well, what can you do? Not even the fact that today is the day of the dreaded football can destroy my happiness.

Why, might you ask? Well, that's a very good question.

Because... today is the day... that I met Scott Clifton! One year ago today was the day where I traveled up to Berkley with girltype to meet the boy who had become my idol, with his wit, his charm, his hair, and his general awesomeness. Nothing would deter me from this chance! And nothing did. Oh, I can remember watching him walk out of that van and squealing like a pre-teen at a High School Musical concert, and then resisting the urge to stalk him in the library. I did resist, mind you, so props for that. And how I waited for what seemed to be an eternity after the event was 'supposed' to start, listening to music blared over the sound system including such stalwart stars as Brooke Hogan and Milli Vanilli. But it was all worth it. Easily one of the best days of my life. This is all covered in detail from a post a year ago, well, a year ago minus a day, so I won't go into all the particulars since they're nice and archived.

So, yeah, today is a good day. And from now until the day I stop loving Scott (which, hopefully, will be the day I die), it always will be. But damn I miss him!

They're listed under Fun in the Sun pics, though I don't know where they would be. That's all on you!

And I still have it baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad for that man. It's just hard to talk about him now that he's not doing anything. *weeps* Kinda like you and SMAP, but with a lot less time spent as a fanatic.

And yes, I changed my layout.

fanatic? me? hardly..

Perhaps, if judged by the standards of which Asian fans are considered fanatics (especially them Koreans!), or those crazy ass European MJ fans, then yeah, you ain't no fanatic.

But I think that someone who went to Japan to see them in concert continually over the span of two weeks has to qualify as some sort of uber-fan. Don't you?

Not that I'm hating. Mad props for your SMAP love, girl, you know that.

But what about them Japanese MJ fans who paid top dollor to spend 15 seconds with him? Now those people are hardcore but I would do the same if it involved SMAP, preferably with their pants off.

(No shame.)

You'd make Shingo keep the pants on, though... because you might have no shame, but you at least have some self-respect.

And the European fans would pay ten times as much for the same amount of time...

Actually in all honestly, Shingo's body type is the most desired, but I still hate him during those 15 seconds. LOLZ.

(No shame.)
