Weekend rates suck!

The internet is back in full force! Cost me 85 bucks because I had to get an antenna installed in my modem, but it's been connected for a long, long time, and this pleases me greatly.

Other things, discovered upon the return of the internet, do not please me greatly. These things are known as the rates for staying at one of the Disneyland hotels over the weekend. The LAST weekend of April, it's less than 800 dollars, which is about as much as I'm willing to spend to stay on site. All the weekends before that? 1500. And the weekend after? Again, 1500. But the second weekend of May? Back to 800. We still don't have plans to hit up Disneyland yet, and I can't be like 'this is when we're going' because, well, I'm just going along and therefore don't have the right. But it would suck if we went during one of those expensive weekends, because, dammit, this is one of the few times that I'll ever have to do Disneyland the way I've always wanted to do it: with oodles of expendable cash and staying on site at one of the hotels. The only thing keeping me somewhat placid is the fact that I can drop off my bags at a few places in the parks and they'll keep them until we go back to the hotel. But the idea of just saying 'send my stuff to Paradise Pier' is SO DAMNED APPEALING! Seriously, hotel room delivery is like my #1 reason for wanting to stay on site. I don't lie.

Another unappealing aside: Crisis Core. Now, it's not a bad game, it's just pretty damned monotonous. You go, you get into a random encounter, you press X, over and over and over and over and over. And the level up system sucks, which is like the cardinal sin in RPG games, at least for me. If I have enough exp built up to level up, then I want to level up! I don't want to wait for some damned spinning dial thing to give me three sevens so that I can! Arg! I fully intend on getting to the point where I see Teen Cloud, if only to see if Steve voices Teen Cloud, too, which would piss me off, and at the same time make me chuckle. His voice is very soft, Steve Burton's. However, I would not really recommend the game.
