Pluto close up

It's been a movie weekend...

Really, it has been. Friday was Fantastic Four 2, yesterday was the Queen, today was Pocahontas and Lilo and Stitch. I don't think I've watched that many movies in such a short amount of time ever since those days when I would watch Pocahontas or Lion King on VHS by rewinding it over and over. I really did it. Those tapes must have been worn the hell out. Good times. Now I don't have to worry about fast fowarding through shit any more, though. Which is even better times. Hey, look, Vision Quest is on! I wonder if I already missed the part where Madonna sings Crazy for You. That's one of my songs! Anyway, yeah.

The Queen was great. Helen Mirren really does kick ass. And the Queen Mum was SO funny in it. I laughed quite frequently. I also laughed at the end, where the Queen was like 'one day they'll turn on you like they did me.' Fast Forward a decade and what happens? The people who LOVED Tony Blair now hate him. Very much like high school.

I got it at Best Buy. I had a 10% off coupon for 3 DVDs/CDs/Games, but didn't want to buy any games (I really don't have time for games that I don't absolutely need... yet I want a PSP and a PS3. Funny, ain't it?) at least then. All DVDs. What was the first thing I saw? The first Fantastic Four. Chris Evans taunted me. I almost bought it, but didn't want to be a bigger hypocrite than I already am. At least I can maintain my boycott of the first movie. I'm like Flit, very stubborn. I loved Flit. Instead, I bought the Queen, Oliver and Company and the Black Cauldron (score!), cost about 60 bucks. Haven't watched either Disney movie yet, but last I checked finding the Black Cauldron was pretty rare, I almost wasn't going to get it, then said I would kick myself if it wasn't there when I WANTED it.

Speaking of High School, and Chris Evans taunting me, what does Comedy Central show? Not another Teen Movie. I hope they don't start their cycle of showing that movie over and over and over. Comedy Central does that. Far. Too. Often. I hate when they do that. They do it with their shows, too. Reno 911 and Crank Yankers weren't entertaining to me because of the fact that they were overplayed. Much like I'm Rick James, Bitch.

Still looking for a new outlet for writing, with minimal success. It makes me sad.

Oh, yeah, girltype, Disneyworld's looking like 1100 apiece for tickets/hotel/flight... right now. It might go up, because of flight rates. How early in advance do you have to book flights in order for them not to cost up the ass? Anyone know? Anyone?

Also, I was thinking that we could hit up Sonics on Saturday after I get off of work. Whatchu think?
