Pluto close up

I'm amused

Due to the fact that it is like Latino Awareness month in this country, and I never even knew about it until like yesterday or something. Does it matter to me? Do I need to aware of who and what I am? No, of course not, but, it's like, I know when Black History month is, because it's rammed down my throat (not that I don't think it's bad to understand the history, and the mistakes), but this one? The Mexican one? Yup, not even cared about. Maybe this is the first year, because it is seriously the first time I've ever heard of it.

Anyway, due to this little trend, Nick showed this movie, the Princess and the Barrio boy, I watched all of it, because it has Nick Gonzales AND Marisol Nichols, probably my two favorite hispanic actors, because they're seriously like the only ones around. No, really. Edward James Olmos, Maria Conchita Alonso, Marisol Nichols, Liz Torres, Nick Gonzales, Tony Plana... such a limited pallete. The FUNNY part is that it was made by Showtime, which also makes Ressurection BLVD, and, in that show, Nick and Marisol are brother and sister, Tony is their father. So, it was really, really odd to see Nick and Marisol kiss. Seriously, I was afraid...

Still, decent movie.
