Pluto close up

*Gasp* could it be??

A post with some form of... substance? Am I allowed to do that? I believe I am, yes.

One thing that irks me as a writer for various online PBEMs (this is play by e-mail for the lesser informed) is the huge amount of crossover characters that end up coming up by the same people, just for different groups. I HATE crossover characters ever so much, and think that people who use them really should just take the time to make up someone new... it isn't that hard. I usually don't even use the same people for models if I've used them before... but that's just me. I know that some people really like their characters and want them to stick around or do more... but I guess I'm just not that type of person. For me, Originality, even if it isn't a great deal, just a small amount, is better than banking on the comfort of an old character.

What made me think about this? I was looking at an add for a new group that started up, looked interesting, although I wouldn't join it because I've already got a group like that, but anyway, I look and there's a character that used to be at one of my groups and he was in love with another character that was also there so I'm just laughing and going 'some people are so stupid.'

Then again, people don't have as much free time as I do to make up new characters.

In other news: Got my CDs!
