And the Wind Waker shall own us all!

So... I ventured into the horrid little town of Hollister *yes, I'm well aware that you people are asking "where the hell is that?" With the possible expections of those of us who KNOW where it is... believe me, we'd all like to forget that this little hell hole exists* for the first time since Jan and went to Target. Now... I was rather hesitant, the only real reasons to go into Town are to see my grandma and my friends.. neither of which was accomplished with this trip. However... there was good reason to go... Target had a demo of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker *comes out on monday, will be in stores on tuesday... awaiting breakdown from glee Tuesday night... pondering not going to class on Wendsday... but fucking paper in Philosophy due... grrr* and so... I played... aaaaaaaaaaaaand the graphics made me drool. Soooooo pretty... but the boss was impossible... at least for me. Yes, I suck at a Zelda game, the world as we know it shall soon enough end...

Also, I have rekindled my love for EGM with this one little quote: "The strictly online Final Fantasy XI requires the hard drive, so if it doesn't show we can only imagine how many Square fanatics will need to be talked down from high ledges." I laughed a jovial laugh when I read that... because it's true. Should XI not come out (if it comes out on PC that's fine, it's how I intend on getting it anyways, no hard drive accessory required, NATCH) people will likely cry bloody murder... it's actually something I want to see in some sick twisted part of my being.

Also, EGM gave me reason to believe that Satoru Iwata is a god amongst men, perhaps second only to Shigeru Miyamoto *also known as the grand exhaulted one, the master sensei and all who doubt his godly might shall be smited* with this "When we withdraw from the home game console market, that's when we withdraw from the videogame business"...

ALL NAYSAYERS WHO BELIEVE THAT NINTENDO SHALL LEAVE MAY NOW EXIT TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT OF THE BUILDING... thank you very much...

Wow, this post actually had a point to it, and funny little quips, too...

hmm... scary.

Things I learn while at home Day 4:

Saint Patricks day isn't one of those things that happens on a certain DAY (Turkey Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter Sunday) it happens on a certain DATE (Christmas, Halloween, birthday's)... I didn't know that. I think it was because last year it was on a sunday... sooooooooo... but now I'm remembering going to school (which I can assure you, I did not do on sundays) and getting pinched for not wearing green... and not knowing why (I really hated this day... fucking green!)

Looks like the monkey be sending us to war... just glad I'm an only child... Ahem... I mean, I feel for those who aren't... but you know... umm... *cough* yeaaaaaah... off to another topic...

Grandia has massively broken magic systems and it pleases me greatly, I probably mentioned this already, but I was looking for a quick distraction...

Daria is going to be on in 10 minutes, how I have missed that show.

Flipped to the disney channel, saw the Luck of the Irish... If you knew me well enough you'd know how pitiful this movie is and what I did before it came on... leave me alone, I really think prostetic pointy ears are cooooool. Of course... after... I ended up thinking Alexis whatever her last name is was pretty fucking hot... and she's like 14

This was Pre-BoA, mind you... so it appears that the whole teeny thing didn't just happen. Of course, at that time I wasn't of age either (ah, youth)

I still think pointy ears are cool, and I want some... Yuppers...
