Pluto close up

an actual update *scary*

I just spent an hour of quality time with my RA and another RA... scary ain't it, my standards, they are lowering. Just kidding, I really do enjoy the time I spend with the RA's, they are pretty friggen cool. Let's just hope that they don't read this, in which case I'd never live it down. Anyways I'm updating to talk about my most favorite music artist ever, the one, the only, Madonna. I own EVERY single full album of new material this woman has ever published, some bad, some good, but I'm here to RANK them in order of lowest to highest, so bare with me, it should be fun, maybe.

I'm breathless: Music inspired by the film dick tracy. What can I say about this album aside from I HATE IT! Honestly, I dispise this album so very much that I've only listened to it one time in my entire life. The only noteworthy song it has is Vogue and to be honest, I have that on the immaculate collection *which won't be ranked here as it is a collection* which has much better songs then this entire album. From what I remember I love Madonna as breathless mahoney but this album is just plain... wrong.

Madonna. Her first album honestly deserves to not be last as it gave us a women who would become THE most imporant female figure in pop music history. To it's credit this album has some pretty good songs but it just doesn't have the oomph of the other ones, it's still pretty good though.

Like a virgin. Heh, like I need to say that much about this album. Her first number one album and deservedly so, it has dress you up, angel, and some other stuff that I can't remember because it's been so long since I've listened to it, as well as, of course, the title track, which put madonna on the map. This album is kind of hard to find, but if you do find it, it's worth it. If only for thefact that you can own THE album that put her on the map as a pop icon.

Erotica. This album has Rain and Bad girl. Good songs, better then most of the others, but the rest of the album is.... wrong. This was at the peak of her "I'm a naughty girl" phase and it shows. After all, this album has the song erotica, and if anyone knows anything about the video... well, let's just say it's... icky.

Music. When I bought this album I was sooooooooo happy, a new madonna album, it was enough to make me cry. Then I take it home and I realize *Damn this album is short*, and that's why it's not as high as the others, that and like three of the songs I just plain dispise. But Gone kicks soooooooo much ass that it's enough to push it higher then the others.

Bedtime stories. I don't have this album right now, and I have no clue where it is, this saddens me greatly as it is a good album. It has the biggest hit of Madonna's entire career *Take A Bow*, as well as great songs like Secret and Bedtime stories. If only I had this album still, I wonder where it is.

True Blue. Papa Don't preach, La isla bonita, Live to tell, True blue. All great hit's of Madonna's career, hell papa don't preach is a damn important song in her career, and it deserves the attention it gets. But the reason why it's so high on this list is because of the song "white heat", I remember when I heard this song I was floored, I couldn't believe how great it was. I still put this album in JUST for that one song, it has that much greatness in it.

Ray of light. Eh? you were expecting this to be the number one weren't ya? Despite it being the most critical success of Madonna's career and the only album to net her a presented grammy, she deserved more of them I tell you, but it was lauren hill's year that year, oh well. This album truthfully has NO bad song on it, I will listen to them all over and over again. The power of goodbye is THE song I play when I'm depressed, and it lets my parents know that I'm pissed about something, I usually get stuff too. But even the greatness of ray of light cannot compare too...

LIKE A PRAYER! The best album of Madonna's career bar none. Hell I'd even go so far as to say that this is my favorite album EVER, it is that damn good. Aside from the very last song, which I Hate so very very much, this album is worth playing over and over again. I could be deserted on a desert island for my entire life with just this album and I would be happy.
